We meet every Tuesday night 7:15-9:30, at the Briarwood Community Center in Worcester, to sing in four part harmony, a capella. We hone our repertoire of of songs from old time gospel, jazz, rock, and blues each week, and we infuse each session with a good dose of laughter and camaraderie. We're looking for more singers. Harmony on the Hudson is a ladies a cappella chorus, singing and having fun in Rockland County, NY (but Orange, Bergen and Westchester residents are welcome to join!) We meet Thursday evenings in Stony Point, for laughs, camaraderie and music-making. We perform several times each year at community events, nursing facilities and parties. Shirah is a non-auditioned choir dedicated to quality amateur performance of Jewish music. Under the direction of renowned director, Mati Lazar, Shirah brings together men and women of all levels of religious observance whose common factor is a love of singing and of Jewish music.
